Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for an Inside Specification Salesperson in the Greater Toronto Area.  In this position, you would be a key part of all Lutron Systems driving demand to our Lighting Controls and working with the rest of the Specification team; helping to drive business.


A successful Inside Specifications Salesperson will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze the market and identify target accounts (architects, lighting designers, and electrical engineers) and develop them into Lutron specifiers
  • Design lighting control projects
  • Assist, organize and perform specifier trainings, which includes code updates, new product launches, and application trainings
  • Program and implement Ketra demonstrations; become the primary supporter of Ketra mockups
  • Work with the commercial area team on sales pipeline management
  • Participate in site visits in support of the design community, which includes job site walk throughs to provide design recommendations, submittal reviews, and contractor training and support
  • Coordinate and support GTA design tradeshows

  • Bachelor’s Degree (technical degree preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical products and their benefit
  • Experience solving complex problems within a team environment
  • ​Must have the ability to collaborate with a team
