Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate eCommerce Analytics Opportunity.  In this position, you will be a key part of Lutron's Marketing Technology team.  You will develop a broad and specific understanding of our overall eCommerce business as well as channel customers, products, comparison to brick and mortar, etc. Your proven ability to visualize your findings resulting in insightful guidance for senior management will be essential to overall success. 


  • Work with eCommerce Channel and Business/Product Management teams to create scalable reporting dashboards that increase visibility to eCommerce performance   

  • Monitor defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify whatis working, what is not working and what is driving success  

  • Demonstrated skills with mathematical methods for identifying and quantifying correlations across large data sets 

  • Create written narratives and hold presentations that tell insightful and action-oriented stories about the ways such data insights would improve Lutron’s business, operational efficiency, as well as employee & customer experience 

  • Draw out concerns of stakeholders & customers

  • Identify, evaluate, and document potential data sources 

  • Define requirements for operational processes to utilize and maintain data 

  • Partner with Data Science and IT resources for technical solutions 

  • Define and produce accurate, essential reports for key stakeholders 

  • Identify key trends & insights from the data that enable various teams across Lutron to improve our business 

  • Business intelligence information resourcing, compiling & evaluation leading to sharing impactful insights. 

  • Track customers’ & competitors’ sites. 

  • Gain deep understanding of customers’ ecommerce algorithms & how to influence outcomes by optimizing content assets, descriptions, etc.

  • BS in Business, Marketing Analytics, Mathematics, or related field   

  • 10 years progressive growth in Analytics inclusive of 3years+ eCommerce applications of analytics 

  • 4-year degree plus additional advanced coursework in analytics & eCommerce 

  • Diagnostic, Prescriptive & Descriptive Analytics Experience 

  • Data driven Change management 

  • Effectively collaborates across business & function areas with peers, stakeholders, and technical teams. 

  • Strong ability to articulate vision, requirements & benefits, providing a solid rationale to business and technical partners
