Lutron is a world leader in Total Light Management, with offices on four continents and sales in over 100 countries. Lutron is looking for passionate and driven engineers to join their Global Service & Experience Center, at the Cyber City, Gurgaon, as a Technical Applications Representative.


Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an opening for top candidates with 1-2 years’ work experience. In this position, you would be a key part of the Lutron global service team.


Preferred Background: Building Management Systems/BMS, Automation, Commissioning, Field service, Lighting controls

  • Represent Lutron with a professional, upbeat attitude according to our Five Principles, particularly TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER.

  • Develop technical expertise regarding Lutron products, systems, and services.

  • Support our customers by providing necessary information on our stand-alone and system level products via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues regarding Lutron products and systems.

  • Document problems and solutions in a central database, escalate customer questions when necessary.

  • Communicate effectively with other areas of the company to meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Participate and run the day-to-day operation of LED CoE @ A3E

  • Take on special projects as necessary to meet or exceed the goals of our technical support team.

  • Academic Degree(s) Required: Bachelor's in Technology/Engineering (4 yr. course)

  • Languages Requied: English and Hindi. Other languages like Mandarin, Spanish, French will be a plus

  • Specialized Skill(s) Required: Electrical and Electronics education, Computer experience (networking, software troubleshooting, programming), Customer Service Experience

  • Experience Required: 1-2 Years

  • Knowledge Required: Customer facing, IT, Computer, AV, HVAC, Lighting, Troubleshooting via phone or electronically

  • Ability to work in multi-shift operation, on shift rotational basis (some shifts do cover Weekends, although overall working days would be 5 days per week)
