Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for an IT Specialist supporting our Philadelphia area offices. In this position, you would be a key part of the Information Technology team supporting our executive offices, end user technology, and Audio/Video (AV) operations. A successful IT Specialist will use their interpersonal skills, and technical expertise to meet the needs of the Lutron offices and their people. You will leverage your technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, problem solving abilities, proven communication skills, and time management abilities to support operations in our Philadelphia offices.


As an Information Technology Specialist at Lutron you will:

  • Support Executive team technology needs, primarily in Lutron’s Philadelphia and occasionally Lehigh Valley locations
  • Act as the interface between corporate and the local facility for all IT matters
  • Implement technology in AV and collaboration spaces
  • Be flexible and help with other projects and responsibilities as needed
  • Work with corporate IT, facilities, and outside vendors to accomplish goals
  • Provide daily IT support for local team members

If it does, Lutron is looking for candidates with the following criteria:

  • Associates degree in a relevant Information Technology discipline (Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 ) or equivalent working experience

  • 2 or more years of experience in an IT function preferred

  • Knowledge of computer systems, software applications, operating systems, networking and/or AV systems

  • Hands-on attitude and strong work ethic 

  • Proven written and verbal communication skills

  • Skillful at solving problems with enthusiasm and creativity

  • Self-starting, inquisitive, flexible, multi-tasking

  • Driven to maintain high standards of quality, even under pressure

  • Willingness to travel to multiple Philadelphia offices and occasionally Lehigh Valley office locations
