Overview

Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Residential Specification Salesperson for the Southern California Territory.  This position requires a creative, motivated self-starter who can operate independently when given initial guidance and deliver the required sales results

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with existing and new residential specifiers and luxury builders to deploy Lutron luxury residential solutions into the residential dwellings they design and build. 
  • Build collaborative relationships between the design community and qualified dealer network  
  • Partner with Manufacturer's Representatives and their assigned accounts to develop and execute strategic market plans that create demand and incremental sales. 
  • Be a thought leader and subject matter expert to your accounts.   
  • Stay current with market trends and Lutron products and lighting solutions. 
  • Provide relevant, timely education and training to accounts on new products, current sales programs and industry trends.

Qualifications


  • BS/BA Preferred (minimum 2.8 GPA) with 3 years work experience OR High School Diploma/GED equivalent with 5+ years relevant work experience in sales or specification

  • A willingness to travel 50% of the time, sometimes with little or no notice

  • Experience with sales generation across the residential industry a plus

  • Experience in Salesforce a plus 

  • Home Office Based (Los Angeles, CA/Orange County, CA)
