Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening for a Program Specialist to join our team and take on a variety of administrative responsibilities to help our organization and customers plan and implement new activities and programs. Program Specialist responsibilities include providing guidance and direction to employees and customers about various programs within the organization. Ultimately, you will work with the sales team to manage inbound calls and direct them to the correct outside sales, inside sales, or actions for customer requests.  


What will you learn in this assignment? 

  • How to manage and navigate Lutron processes with customers 
  • Assist sales team with paperwork for RGAs, MDF, FOLs, and Salesforce Applications 
  • Manage and track training registration progress 
  • How to divert incoming calls to the appropriate team or team member 
  • How to utilize all the tools dealers have access to to help them be more effective 
  • How to effectively work through the Lutron organization to elevate local issues, exceptions, and rush requests 
  • Help customers submit complete details and provide a smooth experience for custom requests. 

Highlights of the position: 

  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of programs and procedures for the entire Lutron residential portfolio 
  • Communicate with dealers to help direct them to the appropriate person or department 
  • Be the first line of defense for local inbound customer calls  



  • Proven work experience as a Program Specialist or similar role 
  • Strong knowledge of Lutron’s programs, guidelines, and restrictions 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Good time management and organizational skills 
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Program Specialist
