Lutron is seeking a passionate and seasoned Internal Communications professional with skilled storytelling experience to manage our company-wide internal business communications programs.  In this role, you will apply your ability to develop specific content to target audiences to ensure that employees across the organization are aware and supportive of our company’s strategic goals, key projects, and executive updates.  Additionally, you will utilize your proven interpersonal skills, creativity, and ability to motivate others to establish compelling employee engagement programs.  This will include identifying and implementing communications opportunities that connect leadership to employees and developing key messages and communications materials.  Your efforts will help shape and promote company progress, key initiatives, and high-level decisions to our people, enhancing overall employee engagement.


  • Develop communications plans and campaigns that outline and broadcast business initiatives and change management programs
  • Interact with C-suite executives and provide counsel, as needed
  • Develop deep understanding of employee sentiment and factor it into planning and decision making
  • Manage the day-to-day content of the intranet and associated infrastructure, acting as a gatekeeper
  • Oversee speechwriting for executives
  • Partner with the legal team in the crisis planning process to help develop rapid response communications plans
  • Cultivate a proven culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire the community of employees
  • Create compelling content that can be delivered in a targeted manner across various divisions and demographic segments
  • Develop an editorial calendar that is synced up with key decisions, actions, and planning
  • Use research tools, analytics, and metrics to evaluate the performance of the initiatives and to calibrate as required
  • Support leadership and company meetings by crafting messaging, agenda topics, speaker selection and logistics


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 
  • 7+ years of experience in a corporate environment and/or consulting agency
  • Ability to manage a variety of corporate communications channels, including corporate intranets, mobile, and internal social media channels
  • Proven executive communications experience and presence
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Fearless when embracing technology: comfortable learning new programs easily to enhance company-wide communication 
  • Ability to adapt to evolving situations and to change directions quickly
  • Comfortable working at a fast pace and able to meet deadlines
