The Project Manager, Real Estate and Facilities will oversee a portfolio of real estate related projects by securing and managing project resources to ensure projected are completed on time, within budget, to the agreed upon specifications and requirements.


  • Oversee and coordinate all real estate/facilities projects across Lutron’s global portfolio

  • Collaborate with and manage architects, engineers and contractors to ensure project goals and requirements are clearly defined and communicated to all parties, as appropriate.

  • Work closely with business units and other project team members to understand business, design, and functional requirements

  • Oversee and manage all site specific/remote project managers

  • Define, monitor and control the project budget and timeline to ensure projects are delivered according to project milestones/timelines and within budget.

  • Develop and implement project tracking mechanisms to be able to provide timely updates on project progress to key stakeholders capturing important decisions and identifying and managing all risks to project timeline and budget

  • Challenge existing project processes, technologies, and systems to continuously seek ways to improve the existing processes to achieve Lutron’s strategic objectives and drive greater efficiencies for the company

  • Manage and coordinate all project documentation, including the necessary internal approvals

  • Prepare capital budgets and monitor throughout the year, providing updates and explanations for significant variations


  • Bachelor's degree required. Real Estate, Architecture, Business Administration, Facilities Management, Engineering preferred

  • Min GPA 3.0

  • 8+ years prior project management experience, required

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet critical deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Excellent problem solving and financial analysis skills

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with a global engineering and/or technical company is highly desirable
